If you can do it more often, then do other types of exercise too &#8211; walking, jogging, riding, skating, or swimming.<\/p>\n<p>Each week of family.fit has a <strong>theme<\/strong>. The focus this week is being generous. Six cups per pair.<\/p>\n<p>One person holds superman while the other does five squats. After each round place one cup to build a tower.<\/p>\n<p>Swap roles. A meal had been prepared for Jesus. Martha was doing the serving, and Lazarus himself was there. Mary took a very expensive bottle of perfume and poured it on Jesus&#8217; feet. She wiped them with her hair, and the sweet smell of the perfume filled the house. A disciple named Judas Iscariot was there. He was the one who was going to betray Jesus, and he asked, &#8220;Why wasn&#8217;t this perfume sold for three hundred silver coins and the money given to the poor?&#8221; Judas did not really care about the poor. He asked this because he carried the moneybag and sometimes would steal from it. Jesus replied, &#8220;Leave her alone! She has kept this perfume for the day of my burial. You will always have the poor with you, but you won&#8217;t always have me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>\n\t\tDay 1 &#8211; Read and discuss together\n\t<\/h3>\n\t<p>Find some perfume and smell it as you talk about the generosity in this story. Who was generous and why? Why was it put on Jesus&#8217; feet?<\/p>\n<p>What was Jesus&#8217; response to this?<\/p>\n<h3>\n\t\tDay 2 &#8211; Reread the bible verse\n\t<\/h3>\n\t<p>God is generous! Write down some of the things God has given each of you on separate pieces of paper.<\/p>\n<p>Find a spare jar or pot to put them in.<\/p>\n<h3>\n\t\tDay 3 &#8211; Reread and discuss together\n\t<\/h3>\n\t<p>What is God saying to you through this story? Share some of the ways friends or family have been generous to you. Prepare a surprise gift for someone in your family or someone else you know.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/family.fit\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/1-warmup-300x300.png\" alt=\"1 warmup\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"300\" width=\"300\" title=\"1 warmup\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n<h2>\n\t\tStep 6: Pray\n\t<\/h2>\n<h3>\n\t\tPray and cool down: 5 minutes\n\t<\/h3>\n<h3>\n\t\tTake time to look outwards and pray for others.\n\t<\/h3>\n<h3>\n\t\tDay 1 &#8211; Pray and stretch\n\t<\/h3>\n\t<p>Use the letters from the word &#8216;GENEROSITY&#8217; to make a list of some things that God has generously given to you as a family. Thank Him together.<\/p>\n<h3>\n\t\tDay 2 &#8211; Short prayers\n\t<\/h3>\n\t<p>Take your pot from STEP 5 and pray one-line prayers thanking God for His generosity. Ask God to help you to be generous in the things where you know you need help.<\/p>\n<h3>\n\t\tDay 3 &#8211; Pray and surprise\n\t<\/h3>\n\t<p>Ask God to help you think of someone you know who would not be expecting anything from you and surprise them with something (gift \/ food \/ time) to encourage them. Have fun!\n\t<\/h3>\n<h3>\n\t\tDay 1 &#8211; The best score is&#8230;\n\t<\/h3>\n\t<p>Place cups on a table with a target score on each. From a distance of 3-4 meters throw five paper balls towards the cups. Score points for each ball in a cup.
